An enjoyable Journey; Chrysler engineers pay attention to detail, Windsor (Canada) Star, May 24
o By far the biggest improvement is the overall upgrade in the interior and the manner in which it is finished and fashioned, the Windsor Star said in its review of the 2011 Dodge Journey. There’s also a new-found attention to detail, the Star said. The second major improvement is the new Pentastar 3.6-litre engine; this V6 puts a rewarding 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque at the driver’s disposal, the review said. This version of the Journey takes an enormous step in the right direction, making it the best of its kind on the road, the review said. It has flexibility, plenty of space without feeling too large, ample power and surprising fuel economy, and it stickhandles its way through sweeping bends without leaving the riders with white knuckles, the review said. All in all, a job well done, the Star said.
