o Detroit Lions star Ndamukong Suh and a local schoolteacher will be among the metro Detroiters appearing in the next phase of Chrysler’s “Imported from Detroit” ad campaign that began with rapper Eminem’s big-buzz Super Bowl commercial, the Detroit Free Pres said. Suh and Andre Harding, a Rochester (Mich.) High School speech and English teacher, are featured in a glossy new Chrysler 300 catalog that will show up in dealerships next month, the Free Press said. Later this week at the New York Auto Show, Chrysler will preview new TV ads starring several highly successful people with Detroit connections, including Suh and John Varvatos, a menswear fashion designer who was born in Detroit, raised in Allen Park, Mich., and has used Detroit rock icons Iggy Pop and Alice Cooper in his own ad campaigns, the article said.
